What was begun by founder Mark Higdon in 1994 when he hand-carved the very first Higdon Magnum Mallard Decoy, has become the very foundation of Higdon Outdoors. We’ve lived it, breathed it, and now with this newly designed Legacy Magnum Mallard, we believe we have perfected it.

The NEW Legacy Magnum Mallard is the result of thirty years of learning, listening, researching, innovating and constantly putting our decoys through the ultimate tests, in the lab and in the field. It has been redesigned from beak to tail by a world champion artist and expert decoy carver, capturing realism and emotion in every feature. Our proprietary UV paint process is as durable as it is beautiful. Available with painted or flocked headed Drakes, the iridescent green color scheme pops in any lighting condition.
